I met him at La Jolla Nov 9. His style is truly effortless. I remember watching videos of him surfing when he was still really young. I want to say it was in Blazing Longboards but I don’t remember. Definitely graceful. Kevin Connelly (magic feet) and Ray Gleave were all really fine. Kookapinto, modern day surfer is just sooo smooth.
