I think it depends on how clean and tidy you want the board to be!! For me (though I’m definitely not the example of the cleanest best kept boards!) I’d personally be choosing to leave as it doesn’t look like there any real break in the fibreglass, if you think water is getting in though I’d be atleast doing a solar res job on it and can get it properly done now or later. Then I’m also a user of tape to fix my problems 😂 so some good duct tape is always a nice band aid to put my mind at ease if I have any doubt about water getting in
