Ahhh this is sick!!! You’re going to have a great time! If you get the chance to go to Double Island point just North of Noosa I’d definitely do that, so sick! Beautfiul wave and suuuppperrrr long!
A lot of the waves along that coast are fairly well known (or maybe I just don’t know the hidden gems haha), but I’d hit up The pass/watagos in Byron, Cabarita, gotta head past greenmount and kirra – if you’re wanting some barrels hit up Burleigh heads too. Alexandra Headland is a really nice spot as well, hard not to find good areas along the east coast they’re super lucky!
As for camping spots, I haven’t done it in a while but there’s plenty around, lots of free camping as well I hear nowadays if that’s what you’re after! Plenty of Big 4 campgrounds and others.

Another place I’d check out if you’re going that way is Coffs Harbour – really nice and fun waves!!! Head to Arrawarra around there, one of my fav waves when its on!!! And lastly if you go a fair way south, try get to crescent head, that place is magic haha
