i alway fall into the water and drop the board while the waves close out. This is quite embarrassed. especially in a backhand wave.

i any tips for ending a wave?

I’ve gone through all the courses and found them very helpful, but I still haven’t come across anything related to circuit the boards.

All tips are welcome. And the video is my surfing record

    Very smooth cross stepping!

For this particular wave you could have predicted the wave closing out and stepped back to carve to the beach

or even better stepped back to hit the white water
