Safety tip
Does anyone wear a high visibility jersey out on the water? My wife became worried about me when she couldn’t see me out in the line up. I came back in to find her very upset and ready to go home. My wetsuit is black and my board is white, i look like everyone else out there. Of course this prompted a saftey discussion and we came up with the idea to wear a color that can be seen at a distance. I wear my jersey every session, it only makes sense to be highly visible if i am ever in trouble. I want the lifeguard and fellow surfers to spot me at a glance. My wife is at ease just being able to spot out in the water and all is well in the world again

Nice way to remain visible from the shore in a crowd of black wetsuits I often wear a light grey surf hat which is easy to see and has the added benefit of keeping the sun out of my eyes.

We use rashguards and/or coloured hats here!
